Istanbul Cancels Slaughter To Prevail and Behemoth Shows Over ‘Societal Values’ Clash | Core Community

Istanbul officials canceled Slaughter To Prevail and Behemoth concerts at Zorlu Center, citing “societal values” clashes under Law No. 2911, with a two-day venue ban. Governor Davut Gül stated no activities corrupting society will be allowed. Islamist groups accused the bands of satanic propaganda.

Alex Terrible denied this on Instagram: “We spread no satanic propaganda—I believe in God, and our guitarist wears an Orthodox cross.”
