ON TOUR: Nothing More - Carnal Nature World Tour 2025 w/ Catch Your Breath, Solence & Ankor
Nothing More formed in 2003 in San Antonio, Texas, when Johnny Hawkins (drums) and Mark Vollelunga (guitar) met at a church camp and started making music together during jam sessions. By the end of high school, the friends decided they wanted to record the music they had been writing under the name “Nothing More.”
The lineup was then rounded out by another guitarist, a bassist, and a lead vocalist. In 2004, the band released their self-recorded debut album, Shelter. After several lineup changes over the following years, Johnny Hawkins eventually decided to step up to the mic himself.
The band finally broke through with their self-titled studio album Nothing More in 2014. Tracks like “This Is the Time (Ballast)” and “Jenny” helped put Nothing More on the map and eventually landed them a deal with Eleven Seven Music.
Over time, the current lineup came together, featuring Johnny Hawkins, Mark Vollelunga, Daniel Oliver on bass, and Ben Anderson on drums.
Over the years, the guys have toured across North America, Europe, and Australia, sharing stages with bands like Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, Papa Roach, and Electric Callboy.
Blending progressive rock, heavy metal, and alternative rock, Nothing More have earned three Grammy nominations and have also used their platform to raise awareness around mental health in collaboration with various organizations.
Last year, the band released their seventh studio album, Carnal, once again showing just how versatile these musicians can be.
Their live shows are just as impressive. Nothing More use two different drum kits on stage, one for Johnny Hawkins and one for Ben Anderson. Another major highlight is their collection of unique constructions made from old metal and car parts, including the infamous “Scorpion Tail,” which allows the band to create electronic sounds and heavily distorted vocals.
Joining them as special guests and support are Catch Your Breath, Solence, and Ankor.
