ON TOUR: Killswitch Engage - EU Tour 2025 w/ Employed to Serve, Decapitated & Fit for an Autopsy
It’s been 25 years since KILLSWITCH ENGAGE stormed onto the metal scene with their self-titled debut album. Over the years, they’ve developed a sound that’s unmistakably their own, always standing out with their mix of technically impressive riffs, insanely catchy singalong bangers, and energetic, unpredictable live shows. And the latter will soon be back on German stages, with Fit For An Autopsy, Decapitated and Employed To Serve joining them as support.

Back in February, Adam Dutkiewicz (guitar), Joel Stroetzel (guitar), Mike D’Antonio (bass), Justin Foley (drums) and Jesse Leach (vocals) returned with their ninth studio album, The Consequence, bringing all of their strengths together once again.
“Making this record lit a fire under my ass and made me rethink everything,” Leach says. “It had to be next level. It had to be different enough for people to really recognize we’re putting forth an effort—or what’s the point of doing this? There was no repeating ourselves. It was very carefully planned out and passionately written. It sounds like Killswitch, yet there’s also a fresh spirit to it.”
From day one, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE managed to connect with both metalheads and hardcore kids. Their 2002 album Alive Or Just Breathing sent shockwaves through the scene and was later named one of Decibel’s “Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time.” Throughout their career, the band has picked up multiple Gold and Platinum certifications, racked up more than 3 billion streams, landed multiple Top 10 entries, and even earned three GRAMMY® Award nominations.
